It's been a long time.

My deviations that have exceeded 1000 page views:

Thanks for looking!

Wow,
It's been almost 7 months since I've drawn anything! There's been a lot going on in my life, including a move from Okinawa Japan back to the states. But I guess that's no excuse now is it. I'm now living in Quantico Virginia. I was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease that will probably keep me from working outside my home, since for one week out of every month I have to go get treatments for my diease. Maybe it's fate, and I'm meant to spend more time on my art, so I don't know why I'm not! I guess I need a little motivation. Coming back here and checking out DA and all the deviations helps. I'd like to say thanks to everyone who left me a lot of great feedback on my work. I'm sorry I wasn't around to acknowledge it. I hope to be an active part of DA again soon.

I almost thought you left DA for good. It's good to here you didn't. =)

I'm so sorry to hear about your illness, and will keep you in my prayers. I can't wait to see the new artwork you'll be doing though. :D I just love your attention to detail. :)

In all honesty, I was just thinking about you the other day and said a prayer for you. I am SO glad to hear that you are doing alright, albeit hearing the news of the disease wasn't good news, all in all you are okay which I am so happy to hear! And back in the states now too! Are you glad of that?

Please take care of yourself, Bonnie. Don't push or hurt yourself right now. Even though I terribly miss seeing your artwork (I truly do!) please don't hurt yourself in the process. Sometimes we need a break for TLC, clearing the mind, relaxation, whatever. But I'm also SO glad to hear that you are starting to feel a bit more motivated! I really look forward to seeing more of you and seeing work from you again!

Many many hugs to you!

I was looking at your site only last week. I only have a few people on my watch list and you have been gone for a while. You seemed very down before you left. Was it illness related? Hope things start working out better.

Bonnie,
Welcome back! We're here with whatever support and love we can give via the internet (at least whatever's legal!) I cannot wait to see you come out w/ new work.
As for your illness, I know that you'll beat whatever is going on. If you need inspiration or anything go to [link] It's a website dedicated to a documentary that is really quite uplifting.
Again, whatever you need, let us know.

Yea,
My illness was getting me down. My motivation to draw was in the crapper. I couldn't stay focused on anything. Now things are better for me healthwise since I'm getting treatments. I just need to get rolling again with drawing. Moving really messes up your routine too! I'm still getting use to my new environment.
